- Far from the bustle of the ski slopes, Megève takes on the air of a village in summer: pedestrian streets to wander, terraces to linger on, boutiques and art galleries to discover along the way. Each district reveals itself in a new light: Mont d'Arbois and its world-renowned 18-hole golf course, the Jaillet and its panoramas over the Mont Blanc range, Rochebrune and its timelessly charming alpine pastures, Côte 2000 and its postcard landscapes.
Hiking and trail running at altitude
All around, the mountain becomes a playground. Set off on foot along the marked trails, from the Croix des Salles viewpoint to the more demanding slopes of the Grande Croisse Baulet via the Col du Jaillet, your gaze drawn to Mont Joly and Mont d’Arbois.
Mountain biking, golf, climbing and outdoor activities
Then, to each their own way of breathing in the altitude: the effort of mountain biking, trail running, cycling or climbing; the calm of a round of golf or a spot of fishing at Lac de Javen; the freshness of an aquatic hike. Panoramic flights: paragliding, hot-air balloon, helicopter

- 20 June, Megève Nature Trail: the season’s sporting kick-off.
- 3–5 July, MB Race: eight mountain bike races, including the legendary MB Ultra, considered the world’s toughest MTB course.
- 10–12 July, 30th Megève Jazz Contest: thirty years, eight bands, New Orleans jazz echoing through every corner of the village.
- 11–19 July, 15th Jumping International: over 500 horses and 25,000 visitors for the Alps’ leading equestrian event. Once again this year, you’ll find the Soleil d’Or team on site to delight your taste buds.
- 31 July to 2 August, Megève Blues Festival: three evenings of concerts at the Pré Saint-Amour.
- 8–9 August, Fête du Village: the soul of Megève in all its conviviality.
